I am an author, speaker and advocate for parents and carers of children with complex needs and rare diseases.
I speak at NHS hospitals to medical students and professionals and provide advice and tips for parents and carers. I currently work with the Evelina London Childrens' Hospital on In Touch, a parent wellbeing project.
Check out my Positively Chronic Blog if you are a parent or carer of a child with complex needs looking for advice, home schooling ideas, recipes and inspiration.
Contact me to discuss working together if you are a hospital or professional organisation interested in my talks, advocacy or projects.
“Nicola is a passionate and engaged speaker, with true authority and personal experience of the challenges many parents face. She always receives excellent feedback and often leaves her audience moved to tears by her honest and frank accounts of the challenges faced by children and their families in the both diagnosis and ongoing management of complex medical needs.”
